Our mission is to provide opportunities to learn environmental stewardship, increase awareness of healthier lifestyles, and promote a sense of community by creating and maintaining an organic community garden. Through its educational activities and community events, the garden serves as a catalyst for positive change in the Arlington community.

FNFCG was formed in response to a demand for greater cohesion within the community gardens of Northeast Florida. I decided to start this group because I know that there is a group of people here in Jacksonville.. in the nooks and crannies... planting there home gardens... catching water from their roofs... using greywater... planting in guildes.... I want to know you!.. I have a PDC from Hawaii 2001 and have worked on farms since than. My home is becoming a model of what I have learned. I have alot to share - and I'm sure I can learn alot from others experiences.
